Due to a water main break caused by gas company contractors working in the area on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, customers on South Main, Rivers Edge, and Dry Creek who experienced a water outage or low pressure should follow a precautionary boil water advisory for 48 hours after service is restored. Bring water used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, or preparing food to a full boil for at least one minute, then allow it to cool before use. After the system recovers, we will collect water samples, which require at least 24 hours of analysis. We will send another message when the advisory is lifted. If your water is discolored, run the cold water until it clears and call our office so we can note your account for a discolored-water adjustment. We apologize for the inconvenience.
