Utility work will be taking place on Florida Street between Glenwood Street and Bills Drive for the next two weeks. At times, portions of the road may be closed, so please avoid the area if possible.

L&C Sample Kits are being distributed to participating residents this morning, June 1, 2026. Instructions and collection procedures are inside of the sample kits. After collecting the sample, contact the phone number left in the kit, and place the kit back in the spot it was delivered to for pickup. As early voting for the West Virginia Primary election is underway at City Hall, the Water Board meeting scheduled for 05/05/2026 will be cancelled. The next meeting is set for 06/02/2026 at normal time.

Voters looking to vote before Election Day can do so at Milton City Hall between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. until May 9. Additionally, early voting will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, and Saturday, May 9.

Hillview Road will be closed on April 2, 2026, for the installation of a new water tap. Water service will be interrupted beginning at 8:00 a.m. and will remain off until the work is completed. Once the installation is finished, the affected portion of the roadway will be temporarily filled with gravel while it settles; motorists are advised to use caution when the road reopens.
