In a recent announcement, Mayor Evans has officially decided to alter the traditional schedule for trick-or-treating within the city limits of Milton. The new date for this beloved Halloween activity will now take place on Friday, October 31st, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This change has been made in response to forecasts predicting inclement weather, specifically rain, which could have posed challenges for children and families planning to participate in this festive event.

Mayor Evans emphasized the importance of ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all residents, particularly the younger members of the community who look forward to dressing up in costumes and going door-to-door in search of treats. By rescheduling trick-or-treating to a day when the weather is expected to be more favorable, the city aims to enhance the overall enjoyment of the Halloween festivities. The Mayor encourages all families to prepare for the evening by selecting fun costumes and gathering their favorite candy to share with trick-or-treaters.
